About
I work in daylight
My name is Vitalii Lishchuk. I photograph portraits, weddings, landscapes and studio work, moving between Kyiv and Norway. Most sessions happen in daylight: it is more honest than a three-head lighting plan and it tires people less.
What interests me is not the pose but what happens between poses. A session is closer to a calm walk with a conversation than to a sitting. I suggest where to stand and where to look, but I do not arrange people into shapes they will not recognise afterwards.
Weddings I cover as documentary work, without half a day of staged blocks. We meet twice before the date: first to get to know each other, then to go through the timeline hour by hour. That way I never spend the day asking where the bride is and when the bouquet comes out.
Landscape is the private discipline that keeps the rest in shape: patience, reading light, composition. The Norwegian coast teaches it better than any studio.
Edited frames are delivered on the agreed date, at full size and separately in a web version.

Questions
How it works
How do I book a date?
Write by email or on Telegram with the date and the city. I confirm whether the day is free and send a contract. The date is held once the contract is signed and the deposit stated in it has been paid.
When are the photographs ready?
Portrait and studio sessions: seven days. Weddings: the term is fixed in the contract, and a few preview frames arrive earlier.
Can I get the unedited files?
No. Editing is part of the authorship, so only finished frames are delivered. Extra retouching of selected frames can be ordered separately.
Do you travel to other cities?
Yes, within Norway and Ukraine. Travel and accommodation are calculated separately and agreed before the contract is signed.
What should I wear for a portrait session?
Plain clothing in calm tones works best because it does not compete with the face. Bring two or three changes and we will decide on the spot.
Which language do you work in?
Ukrainian, English or Norwegian.
